Today, we speak with Joachim Teubner, General Manager of Medinsa (Aristo Group), a pharmaceutical company based in Torrej\u00f3n de Ardoz, Madrid. Specializing in complex formulations and modified-release technologies, Medinsa produces more than 20 million units per year and has been part of the Aristo Pharma group since 2011. With a staff of 300, its commitment to operational excellence has made Lean a key tool for consolidating efficiency, culture, and results. <\/p>\n\n

What made you decide to implement Lean in your company? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

At Medinsa, we are always striving for operational excellence. To achieve and maintain this excellence, we have decided to commit to introducing a Lean system in all operational areas. <\/p>\n\n

What results have you achieved through the implementation of Lean?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

We have achieved a tangible transformation in the way we work. The reduction of production times, an improvement in product quality, and a notable increase in operational efficiency have been some of the greatest achievements. But, above all, we have developed a culture of continuous improvement in our teams! <\/p>\n\n

What was the key moment or highlight of the project?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Without a doubt, the most impactful moment was when we saw the first results of our implementation. Seeing how the teams optimized processes, reduced waste, and improved internal communication showed us that the effort had been worth it. We realized that Lean is not just a methodology, but a cultural change with a lasting impact. <\/p>\n\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 nos elegisteis?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

There was a mutual understanding from the beginning of the project. We were looking for a partner that understood our needs and that not only offered us tools and KPIs, but also a strategic vision. The trust and the results obtained have confirmed that we made the right decision. <\/p>\n\n

Throughout the project, we have seen how our teams have evolved from a reactive to a proactive mindset. Now they don’t wait for problems to arise, but constantly seek improvements. An environment has been created where communication is more fluid, ideas are shared without fear, and collaboration has become a key pillar! <\/p>\n\n
